Ingredients
- 3 Strips Bacon Diced
- ¼ C Onion Finely Chopped
- 3 Tbsp Butter
- 3 Tbsp Flour
- 1 ¼ C Half and Half
- 2 10 oz Packages Frozen Chopped Spinach Thawed and Well Drained
- ½ Tsp Salt
- ¼ Tsp Black Pepper
- ¼ Tsp Ground Nutmeg
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Cook bacon half-way in skillet. Remove from skillet and put onion in skillet, cooking until tender, then remove from skillet. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in cream. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cook and stir for 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat; stir in spinach, salt, pepper, nutmeg, bacon, and onion. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
