Instructions

Pork Chops
- Sift together flour, salt, black pepper, ginger, nutmeg, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Make an egg wash by whisking together eggs and water.
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then dip into flour and spice mixture. Dip pork chops into egg wash, and then back into flour and spice mixture, pressing mixture into the pork chop to ensure it is well coated.
- Heat a skillet with about ½ of an inch of vegetable oil covering the bottom. While skillet is heating and pork chops are frying, make the honey garlic sauce.
- Fry pork chops gently for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy, and internal temperature has reached 145°.
- Remove to a paper towel lined plate and let rest for a couple of minutes before dipping in honey garlic sauce and serving over rice.
Honey Garlic Sauce
- In a medium sauce pan, add olive oil and garlic. Cook over medium heat to soften the garlic, but do not let it brown.
- Add honey, soy sauce, and black pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before dipping pork chops.
