
Ultimate Avocado Toast

Every creation needs a great base, and this recipe is exactly that! The perfect base for whatever type of avocado toast you want to make next! Ingredients
- 2 Thick Slices Multigrain Toast (Or other favorite bread)
- 1 Avocado
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice Freshly Squeezed
- 1 Tsp Olive Oil
- ¼ Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- ¼ Tsp Flaky Sea Salt
- Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices to your desired level of crunchiness.
- Cut, pit, and remove the avocado from its peel.
- Slice the avocado to desired thickness. Put in a bowl and mash with a fork to desired consistency, mixing in the lemon juice as you mash.
- Divide the avocado mixture between the slices of toast, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, red pepper flakes, and fresh cracked black pepper.

For all of these delicious variations, start with the base recipe and add/adjust as follows or as desired!
Greek Avocado Toast: Lemon Juice, Crumbled Feta, and Sliced Cherry Tomatoes.Â
Mexican Queso Fresco Toast: Queso Fresco, Chili Powder, and Fresh Squeezed Lime.Â
Toast with Egg: Add a poached or over easy egg, and a dash of hot sauce.
Creamy Sriracha, Radish, and Scallion: Sliced Scallions, Radish, and Sriracha Mayo.
Everything Bagel: Sprinkle some everything bagel seasoning over top.
Tomato Basil Balsamic: Sliced Heirloom Tomatoes, Basil, Balsamic Drizzle, Fresh Mozzarella (If Desired).
We also have also thoroughly enjoyed adding minced garlic/garlic powder into the base avocado mixture, and prosciutto atop the toasts.
